Lucille's piano performance here in 2010 was so exciting we simply had to have her back -- this time with her pianist husband! Music and Arts magazine in the UK has said: "Theirs is a marriage of wondrous colours and dextrous aplomb." American Record Guide said their piano duet performance at the National Arts Centre in 2003 was "a lucid and deeply moving musical experience." We can expect dynamic performances with plenty of fireworks and emotion from this talented couple.

TRIPLE FORTE
Saturday, September 15

Three renowned soloists come together for a thrilling concert experience. Violinist Jasper Wood, cellist Yegor Dyachkov, and pianist David Jalbert, as Triple Forte have a wide-ranging repertoire, from Haydn and Beethoven to the wit and humour of Ravel and Ives. The Toronto Star has said they "cast a magical spell". Triple Forte quickly establish a graceful and comfortable rapport with their audience.

SUZIE LEBLANC & ROBERT KORTGAARD

Internationally-renowned Acadian soprano Suzie LeBlanc has specialized over the years in 17th- and 18th-century repertoire, and is now exploring the areas of French melodies, lieder, and Acadian folk music. Robert Kortgaard has performed piano solos with major Canadian orchestras and throughout the world. In demand by esteemed vocalists, he has partnered with Isabel Bayrakdarian, Wendy Nielsen, Measha Brueggergosman, and Jean Stillwell. We are eagerly looking forward to an evening of rich and varied vocal and piano virtuosity!
